By using Emberence (“the app”, “we”, “us”) you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
A free daily-question app: you answer one question a day and see the world’s aggregate result, with a prediction game and optional accounts. Emberence is in active development — features may be added, paused, changed, or removed.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Emberence.
You can use Emberence anonymously, or sign in with Google or an email link. Keep your sign-in secure; you’re responsible for activity under your account. Use one account as one person and provide accurate information.
Emberence’s value depends on honest, one-person-one-vote results. You agree not to: create multiple accounts or use bots/scripts/automation to vote or distort results; try to view results before answering; try to identify or de-anonymise other people from the data; scrape or bulk-download the service; interfere with or attack it; or use it unlawfully. We may remove votes or restrict, suspend, or terminate access we reasonably believe breaks these rules — vote integrity is essential to the app.
The questions you answer are handled per our Privacy Policy, and public results are only ever shown as anonymous aggregates. If a feature lets you submit questions or text, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and use that content within the service (including in aggregate) and confirm you have the right to submit it. We may moderate or remove content that is unlawful, abusive, or off-policy.
Questions and results are for interest and reflection — not professional, medical, legal, financial, or factual advice. Aggregate percentages reflect what participants chose, not verified truth.
Emberence is offered free and “as is”, without warranties. We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available, and we may modify or discontinue it (or any feature) at any time. The app is currently free; if paid features launch, they’ll have their own terms shown at the time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or progress, arising from your use of Emberence.
Your data is handled per our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms; we’ll update the date above and note material changes in the app. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
A governing jurisdiction will be confirmed once Emberence is formally established; until then these Terms are governed by applicable law. Questions: hello.emberence@gmail.com.
